Reportedly, on Monday, both—the family of the survivor and Gaurav Sharma’s family ended up in a brawl outside a temple in the village at around 4:30 pm. The woman’s 50 year old father Amrish Sharma and the accused, Gaurav Sharma intervened. However, the argument intensified which irked the accused criminal that ended up in shooting the woman’s father multiple times. He succumbed to injuries while being rushed to the hospital.
The Hathras police also tweeted, “an indictment by the accused by the police station Sasni was registered in the relevant sections. The arrest of the accused will be done soon and strict legal proceedings will be implemented”.
UP Chief minister Yogi Adityanath ordained officials to invoke National security ACT against the criminal and take stringent action in the issue, CMO said.
