Director Prashant Varma has been busy with his upcoming film Hanuman, which is the first film of his own cinematic universe, for the past one year. The film, which features Teja Sajja in the lead role, has been carrying good expectations on it, and was scheduled to be released in May this year.
In the traders released earlier, it was advertised that the film would be released in May, but the movie’s release has now been postponed, and the new release date is expected to be announced soon.
One of the reasons for the film’s release to be postponed is that the post production is getting delayed. Another major reason is being stated as Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s film Adipurush, which is scheduled to be released on June 16th. Adipurush fever is expected to peak in the coming weeks, with the trailer of the film set to be released on May 9th. As such, the makers of Hanuman are said to have decided to postpone the film’s release
