Prasanth Varma’s cinematic creation, Hanu-Man, with Teja Sajja in the lead, has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing a 100-day run across 25 centres. This is considered a significant accomplishment for movies in its category, and even more so for major releases.
Marking a historic moment in Tollywood’s 92-year history, Hanu-Man emerged as an unprecedented Sankranthi hit. The film’s global revenue soared past the 300 Cr threshold, with international earnings exceeding 5 million.
Hanu-Man shattered numerous records at the box office, despite its modest ticket pricing. The film enjoyed a Pan India release and garnered widespread commercial success in various languages, including Hindi, with over 1 crore viewers.
Under the banner of PrimeShow Entertainment, producer K Niranjan Reddy’s Hanu-Man has also made its way to the streaming platform Zee5.
On the other hand, Prasanth Varma started off his plans for the film’s sequel, Jai Hanuman. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, he unveiled a divine poster for Jai Hanuman. The poster features two hands – those of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman, symbolizing a promise made by Hanuman to Rama. He promised to deliver another memorable experience with the sequel.
