A few weeks ago, Indian Cricket team’s former Captain, and the current BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Chief, was admitted to the Woodlands hospital in Kolkata, after he suffered a mild heart attack.
Ganguly was diagnosed with blockages in 3 Coronary arteries, after which a stent was inserted into one, to remove the blockage from the artery. A 9 member medical team was then formed to assist Ganguly with the treatment, all of whom came to a conclusion that angioplasty was not necessary. He was discharged from the hospital on 7th January, and the doctors even said that he could go back to his normal life in 3-4 weeks, as the rest of his health was perfect. Ganguly even tested negative for Coronavirus.
However, the former cricketer has once again been admitted to Apollo hospitals in Kolkata, after he complained of mild pain in the chest on Wednesday afternoon. He is currently at the hospital, and tests are being conducted, to understand the reason for the pain.
Further details regarding his health are still awaited.
