Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the exit polls have failed to catch the pulse of the people, implying that the exit polls which declared Modi as the winner again, are false.
“Exit polls have proved to be incorrect and far from ground reality in many instances. While undoubtedly TDP govt will be formed in AP, we are confident that non-BJP parties will form a non-BJP govt at the center,” Naidu tweeted
If this is the case with Naidu, he should remember that most of the exit poll surveys conducted by the Telugu media are in favor of TDP itself. Then how come the surveys that are in favor of him are able to catch the public pulse and those in favor of Modi are unable to?
For the past few days, Naidu is vigorously fighting against BJP and trying to unite all non-BJP parties across the nation and thus set up an alliance government at the Centre. It is for this reason, he is strictly going against exit poll surveys that are favor of Modi.
Along with going against the exit polls, Naidu also came up with his regular demand, which is to count 50% VVPAT slips, as according to him, there were irregularities in the way, the elections were conducted in Andhra Pradesh.
