It is evident that director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) will be missing its previously announced release date, which is on October 13, 2021.
The film has been in trouble solely owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. After multiple postponements of its release, the RRR team was confident in releasing the flick this year, but the pandemic shattered their plans.
Now, we have exclusively learnt that the makers are planning to release the film on January 26th, coinciding with the 73rd Republic day of India. We know RRR is a fictional story that is based on the life of legendary freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. So, the makers thought it would be a perfect date to launch the film into theatres.
Not only this, a source close to the movie team has revealed RRR team is planning to release a special teaser on August 15, Independence Day this year. An official announcement on these updates will be made at an appropriate time.
Produced by DVV Danayya under his production company DVV Entertainments, RRR features Ram Charan and Jr NTR playing the lead roles while Bollywood and Hollywood stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and Ray Stevenson will be seen in pivotal roles.
