Wedding is a very special day in everyone’s life. An engineer couple from Tamil Nadu has made their wedding even more special by tying the knot underwater off the Neelankarai coast on Monday morning.
As per the reports, the couple dived to a depth of about 60 feet to reach the seabed at a distance of 4.5 km from the shore.
They exchanged the garlands and tied the knot before 7.30 am. Clad in their wedding finery, the two dived to create awareness on keeping the oceans and water bodies clean and plastic-free.
V. Chinnadurai, the groom from Tiruvannamalai, is said to be a swimming enthusiast from his young age. While the bride S. Swetha taken her training in a swimming pool and a few scuba diving sessions for her wedding.
They had spent 45 minutes underwater took a few rounds there. They also revealed that they didn’t even fix the date for the wedding but instead waited for a calm day at the sea.
