Television actor Gaurav Dixit, who was arrested in connection with a drug case, has been placed on remand till August 30. The actor was arrested by the Mumbai zonal team of the NCB on Friday and was produced before a magistrate court in the city.
The Mumbai court on Saturday remanded Dixit in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till August 30.
In April, Narcotics Control Bureau found large amounts of banned drugs at Gaurav Dixit’s house located in Lokhandwala. While returning to his house, the actor and his friend spotted the police waiting at his residence and they fled away. Since then, they were on the lookout for him.
As per reports, Gaurav supplied drugs to Ajaz, and he has a direct connection with Shadab Batata, who was nabbed by the NCB with drugs worth Rs 2 crores in March.
