Actress Dimple Hayati, who recently grabbed media attention, has taken her legal battle to the court. On Wednesday, she filed a petition with the High Court seeking the dismissal of the case lodged against her at Jubilee Hills Police Station.
Dimple alleges that the charges were fabricated under the influence of traffic DCP Rahul Hegde, who coincidentally shares the same apartment complex as her. The court was informed that Dimple had received a notice under CrPC 41A.
After hearing the arguments, the court instructed the police to strictly adhere to legal rules and procedures. The case against Dimple and her boyfriend David was filed by Chetan Kumar, the driver of police officer Rahul Hegde.
He claimed that Dimple had assaulted his boss’s car. However, Dimple vehemently denies the allegations and firmly asserts that Rahul Hegde holds a personal grudge against her, leading him to conspire against her.
