The Delhi Police on Friday busted two interstate rackets involved in the black marketing of drug Remdesivir, which is in high demand currently.
The police also captured four people and seized 81 vials of Remdesivir injections. Police officials stated, two teams spearheaded by Inspector Neeraj Chaudhary and Inspector Gurmeet Singh busted these two such gangs respectively.

The police after figuring out about these gangs conducted a raid on Wednesday near Parmanand Chowk in north Delhi’s GTB Nagar area.
Around 1.15 pm, one of the criminals named Talwinder Singh, a resident of Amritsar in Punjab, was arrested and three vials of Remdesivir injections were recovered from his possession,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Monika Bhardwaj affirmed.
Reportedly, the accused supplied the injection across the nation via a courier company based in Chandni Chowk. Soon, a raid was conducted at Chandni Chowk where the supplier Jitendra Kumar was apprehended. He charged `2,000 as commission for the supply per vial, said the police.
The co accused were arrested at Batra hospital in South East Delhi and 10 vials of Remedesivir were recovered.
