Dasara features Nani in a raw and rustic role, the first of its kind role for the actor. He has given his career best performance in the film, and has managed to bring in good numbers so far. Keerthy Suresh is the leading lady of this film, making it her second collaboration with Nani after Nenu Local. The film is directed by Srikanth Odela, who made his directorial debut with the film.
