It is known that senior advocate and character artiste CVL Narasimha Rao is vying for the MAA president’s post and had filed nomination papers a week ago on the same day Prakash Raj filed his nomination. He even released his manifesto for the polls and pledged for the welfare of the association.
However, in a shocking twist, CVL Narasimha Rao withdrew his nomination for MAA President position. He said that there was a reason for the withdrawal of the nomination and that all the details would be revealed in a couple of days.
“The welfare of MAA members is more important than the presidency,” CVL said. He also stated that he will not support any panel in the competition. With CVL stepping down from the race, there will be a contest between Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu. The elections for MAA will be held on October 10.
