A serious tragedy took place at the house of Communist Party of India (CPI) national secretary K. Narayana. Vasumathi, the wife of Narayana, has passed away today.
As per reports, Vasumathi had been undergoing treatment at a Tirupati hospital for some time. The cause of her death is said to be a heart stroke. She was 67.
News of Vasumathi’s death filled the ranks of the CPI with tragedy. Cine and political celebrities who came to know about this mourned the CPI leader’s wife’s demise. Reports suggest that Vasumathi’s burial would take place place tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Ainambakam village, Nagari constituency.
After completing her studies, she got a job in a bank. She took voluntary retirement and remained a full-fledged activist in the Communist Party.
