CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu seemed really confident about winning the election, as do every leading politician before the polls. Here is what the two party chiefs said in their final speeches before the election.
Jagan said the people of AP must vote with consciousness and elect the leader who did the most welfare work. “If you and your family members were benefited by my schemes and programs then you all must vote for me. But if you think otherwise, then it is your will and wish to act as you please”.
Chandrababu said he would work on developing the financial pools of AP in order to carry out more such government welfare schemes. He vowed to develop the capital of AP like no other and promised to make it the growth engine of AP that would fund the welfare schemes.
