In view of the rising coronavirus cases in India, the Government of Kuwait has now suspended commercial flights from India. Kuwait is the latest country to impose a ban on India after UK, UAE and Canada.
Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation said on Saturday in a tweet that it had suspended all direct commercial flights coming from India from April 24 until further notice.
As per the latest directive, the passengers, who are coming from India, will be prohibited from entering unless they have spent at least 14 days out of India.
However, the citizens of Kuwait, their first-degree relatives and their domestic workers may enter. The statement also said that Cargo is unaffected. The departure flights will remain to operate.
