The latest announcement of China, the birthplace of the coronavirus epidemic, is alarming. In China, traces of coronavirus have also been found in freshly made ice creams.
The corona traces were found in ice cream made by a food company in Tianjin, near Beijing. The company had produced thousands of cartons in that batch.
Chinese officials said only 390 cartons of the batch had been sold so far, and another 29,000 cartons of ice cream had not yet been sold. Officials were engaged in identifying where these sales took place.
However, China has revealed that carbs imported from New Zealand and Ukraine were used to make the ice cream. Officials are conducting medical examinations for all the employees working there and the company is temporarily shut down.
