In a last-gasp attempt, the Congress has assured that they will implement the village volunteers system in Telangana once they come to power.
This is in direct reference to the village volunteer system in Andhra Pradesh where the pension schemes are door delivered and the mass outreach is done by the government through the nearly 2.5 lakh volunteers in AP.
This is a big promise from the Congress to the Telangana voter base as they have assessed the mass outreach possibilities of volunteer system and are using the same to lure the Telangana voters.
