The stage is set for holding the Tirupati parliamentary constituency by-poll in Andhra Pradesh on April 17. After winning the urban local bodies in record numbers, the ruling YSRCP is aiming the win the by poll seat with an absolute majority.
As per reports, AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency by-election seriously. He appointed seven ministers in charge of seven constituencies, accompanied by seven MLA’s.
So far, going by the results of panchayats and municipalities along with the seven MLAs under Tirupati parliamentary constituency, the YSRCP has unstoppable strength and support for the party among the public.
Meanwhile, CM Jagan has directed his party leaders to take welfare and development programs to every doorstep, enlightening them about the activities done by the party.
The TDP has already finalized the candidate much earlier. Panabaka Lakshmi will file her nomination on March 24. TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu himself will step out to campaign for TDP.
Needless to say, BJP is also establishing its strategies to succeed in the election. Apparently, all political parties in AP are taking the Tirupati by-election very seriously. Only time will tell who will succeed.
