Megastar Chiranjeevi has been doing extensive campaigns, promosting precautions and safety measures to fight against Coronavirus. He has been coming forward to help anyone in need, ever since the onset of coronavirus on a huge scale in India and in the Telugu states.
Chiranjeevi has recently participated in a function organised by Hyderabad police commissioner Sajjanar to felicitate Covid-19 patients who donated their plasma. Speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi urged all the Coronavirus patients who recovered to donate their plasma, so that several others can also defeat it.
He also said that Plasma is the new ‘Sanjeevani’ for us during this testing period where coronavirus is spreading like wildfire. He said that by donating plasma, nearly 30 members could be treated, and that the plasma regenerates within 24-48 hours. He added that plasma therapy is being used worldwide to treat Coronavirus and has shown 99% effectiveness. Adding to that, he said that plasma therapy is the only option until a vaccine is found, and also said that plasma therapy has no side effects.
Chirnajeevi also appreciated all the frontline workers who are working day and night to make sure that Coronavirus is driven away from this world. He lauded the efforts of plasma donors, doctors, para-medical staff and police personnel.
