Participating in the Ugadi celebrations held in the Tirupati under the auspices of the TDP party, TDP chief Chandrababu criticized the YSRCP for not doing anything for the development of Tirupati and not even laying the foundation of groundwork in its two-year rule.
“We wanted to build a park here as a model for the KBR Park in Hyderabad. We brought Telugu Ganga water. Let’s take the water up the Tirumala hill. The pipeline was laid from the Kandaleru project. We have preserved the sanctity of Tirumala during our regime,” said Chandrababu.
Referring to the stone-pelting incident, Chandrababu said, “I am not afraid of mines in the Alipiri incident Will I get afraid of pebbles? Devotees from all over the world come to Tirupati. With the anarchy of the YCP, the sanctity of Tirupati is likely to diminish completely.”
