Vikram Kumar lost his credibility with two films Hello and Gang Leader, he immediately signed a Pan Indian web series for Amazon Prime and had roped in Naga Chaitanya and Anushka as two of the important characters.
The casting hasn’t begun though and the script ready and handed over to Prime is still at a nascent stage and pre production is yet to begin.
Meanwhile Naga Chaitanya’s film with Shekar Kammula is yet to release. There is news that he will be doing a film with Parusuram but that is doubtful because Parusuram is soaking in serendipity, he will be directing Mahesh Babu first.
Will Naga Chaitanya wait for Parusuram? Not at all. He will finish Vikram Kumar’s film to be produced by Dil Raju and then move over to Shine Screen Cinema whose producers are Harish Peddi and Sahu.
They will be launching a project with creative director Indraganti Mohana Krishna. Hopefully Naga Chaitanya’s pathetic acting will wane and the audience shall see an improvement under the stewardship of Indraganti. So far Naga Chaitanya doesn’t have a single film where he can boast of pulling the audience to the theatres, it has always been a strong heroine as his co star that was a selling factor.
Even his last film Majili did well due to wifey Samantha. Didn’t he hear of him getting upset with his staff because they praised wife’s work as the best.
