Several petitions have been filed in the CBI Court in an attempt to cancel Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail petition. The CBI Court has also always made sure that Jagan is physically present for every hearing of his case in the court. Jagan was not even exempted from attending his hearing even during his padayatra in 2017.
After becoming the Chief Minister of AP, Jagan even filed a petition in the CBI court, requesting exemption from being physically present for the hearing of his petitions, since he now was in a responsible position. However, the court declined the petition, stating clearly that Jagan would have to be present for every hearing mandatorily.
Opposing the petition, the CBI court even said that they dismissed the petition because Jagan had the capacity to manipulate and influence the witnesses, in the case that his petition was considered. This is now raising several questions if the CBI indeed has any proof of any witness that has been influenced by Jagan.
