Last month YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government had suspended Ex-Chief AP Intelligence, AB Venkateswara Rao. Then he had appealed to CAT to see that he finds justice. But unexpectedly, CAT did not respond positively on this. Infact, it suspended the petition that AB had made earlier. Shockingly to AB, this was totally a surprise.
While AP government had claimed that AB Venkateswara Rao had been corrupt during his tenure, AB had challenged this accuse in CAT saying he has not even single remark in his 30 years career. He could not make a stronger justification on why he must not be suspended apart from just explaining that he is not corrupt.
But on the other hand, the complaint on him being suspended and without any posting the way he was not paid was to be yet investigate and a report was asked to be submitted by the home ministry. But nevertheless, AB is headed towards a lost battle, say analysts.
