The lockdown is still in action as the COVID-19 spread in India hasn’t been brought under control even after the 40-day lockdown period. Most surprisingly, yesterday’s numbers recorded the highest single-day spike in the country after the outbreak of Corona.
On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is going with his own decisions as he already announced that the lockdown in Telangana exists till May 29th. In this situation, today, he gave permission to all the government offices as well as IT offices to run, and now it is being said that he is going to take a crucial decision on the RTC also.
Already, KCR has been facing a lot of criticism as his government is not doing a sufficient number of COVID-19 confirmatory tests all over the state. Now, under these circumstances, if KCR permits the buses to run on roads, it would arise a huge uproar both from the public and the opposition.
Some states allowed road transport with certain restrictions in their states but Telangana is something different as the GHMC sector is looking as a vicious ground for the people to roam. So, KCR should think twice before taking any grave decision.
