It is a well known fact that establishment of nation’s very first bullet train corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is estimated to be done by 2028. The opening of this high-speed rail corridor experienced halts due several factors, while pandemic situation being one of them. Apart from this, seven more tracks are being laid by the centre.
The First site visit meeting for the approximately 711 km Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad Bullet Train corridor will be organised on November 5. This comprises Survey, identification of overhead, over ground, underground utilities and identification of power sourcing facilities for substations including proposed mumbai-pune-hyderabad high speed rail corridor.
This bullet train project initiated by the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has recently floated tenders for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR). It is anticipated to save the travel time between both the states by at least 9.5 hours once the venture materialises.
Tenders for the Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad Bullet Train Corridor is scheduled on November 18 and the successful bidder will clinch the tender deal.
