As per the latest reports flying in from national media houses, India, as a country could be going for a change of names as the updates are suggesting that the government of India plans to rename the country.
Apparently, the BJP government could be imposing a proposal in the parliament session regarding the change of names.
According to the same, India could be renamed as Bharat. There is also a chance that the country could be renamed Republic of Bharat.
The change of names could be enforce in the coming parliamentary sessions that are to be held from 18 – 22 September. An official announcement on the same will be out very soon.
This comes after the Rashtrapati Bhavan sent invitations for the G20 Summit with the name President of Bharat imprinted on them.
