The Election Commission has announced the important dates pertaining to Andhra Pradesh’s elections today and it is confirmed that the polling will be on the 13th of June and the counting is on the 4th of June.
Notification: 18 April
Last date for nominations: 25 April
Scrutiny of Nominations: 26 April
Date for withdrawal of nominations: 29 April
*Polling day: 13 May*
Results: 4 June
This is the confirmed electoral schedule that has been sealed for Andhra Pradesh’s assembly and Lok Sabha election. The same schedule will be followed for Telangana as well.
Andhra Pradesh will either confirm to have Jagan Mohan Reddy as the chief minister or give the chance to the alliance government on the 4th of June. Needless to say,all of India is looking at the electoral campaign in AP, given the intensity AP polls pack.
