Young hero Kiran Abbavram recently announced that his recent film, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a box office hit. But sadly for him, he couldn’t keep the success streak going with his newest release, Meter.
Meter was promoted as a commercial entertainer by the makers and Kiran seemed confident about the film.
However, the film has turned out to be a complete washout at the box office with negligible numbers right from the morning shows. The poor reviews and the weak word of mouth have meant that it barely recovered the publicity charges.
Despite the backing of Mythri Movie Makers, the film couldn’t make the most of the branding advantage and it has now ended up as a humongous disaster. It couldn’t even recover a part of its investments which is not an encouraging result for Kiran, who is now a budding hero.
