To expose the failures and corruption of the KCR government and highlight people’s problems, BJP state president Sanjay Kumar is coming up with a padayatra beginning from August 24.
The saffron party has named the Padayatra as Praja Sangrama Yatra. It will start from Charminar after offering prayers at Bhagyalakshmi temple and continues to Huzurabad.
Sanjay had planned his padayatra marking the anniversary of the Quit India Movement. But it was postponed after BJP high command passed an instruction to all its MPs that they should attend the Parliament session without fail.
As per reports, Bandi Sanjay is said to be planning to cover the majority of areas in the Huzurabad constituency ahead of the election. It is heard that the notification for the Huzurabad by-election is likely to be released before August 24. The party top brass also believes that Padayatra would help improve their prospects in the next general elections.
