A new core committee has been formed for the Andhra Pradesh BJP, and sources are saying that the BJP is changing things up drastically and that it is also sidelining AP BJP Chief Somu Veerraju, and everyone inclined towards the ruling YSRCP. The BJP is now said to be interested in bringing in and giving more importance to those close to the TDP.
Former state chief Kanna Lakshminarayana, former minister Purandeswari, MPs Sujana Chowdary, TG Venkatesh, CM Rajesh and GVL Narasimha Rao, RSS appointee Madhukar and MLC Madhav, who are said to be pro-TDP, have been included in the core committee, where people like Vishnuvardhan Reddy, who is pro-YSRCP, have been avoided.
The reason behind such a huge change-up is being stated as Union minister Amit Shah’s recent visit to Andhra Pradesh. Amit Shah is said to have based Somu Veerraju to include those who are affiliated with the TDP as well, in everything, and a close eye is expected to be kept on everything that’s going to take place in the AP BJP from hereon, with positive results expected soon.
