Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna faced a string of flops last year, with the disastrous debacles of NTR: Kathanayakudu, NTR: Mahanayakudu and Ruler. All of his releases bombed at the box office, sending Balakrishna into a slump.
On the other hand, director Boyapati Srinu also tasted a huge disappointment in the form of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which was an utter disaster upon its release. With both of their careers having gone down hill, Boyapati and Balakrishna decided to collaborate once again for a film.
After a long delay, the shooting for Boyapati and Balakrishna’s film started early this year, and they shot a few action sequences as well. Before the shooting could progress any further, the lockdown due to Coronavirus had put a temporary end to filming. The film is yet to hit the floors again and resume shooting.
Previously, it was rumored that Boyapati was planning to name the film ‘Monarch’, but the director recently dismissed these rumors and said that Monarch is not the title of the film. It is now being reported that Boyapati is planning to name the film ‘Danger’.
Interestingly, more than a decade ago, director Krishna Vamsi made a film called Danger, with Colours Swati and Allari Naresh in the lead roles. While the film was unique, it tanked at the box office. Considering the sentiment, it is to be seen if Boyapati will indeed name the film ‘Danger’.
The female lead and other actors of the film are yet to be finalised. A teaser was recently released from the film, on Balakrishna’s birthday, which received huge response from fans and audiences alike.
