Popular South actor Arya is gearing up for the theatrical release of his highly anticipated Tamil film, Captain. The upcoming sci-fi action movie, which is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, is all set to hit the big screen on September 8.
The latest update is that Captain has wrapped up its censor formalities and was awarded a U/A certificate. The movie has locked a crisp run time of 116 minutes.
Set against the backdrop of North-East Border Town, Arya will be playing the role of Captain Vetriselvan of the Indian Army. The movie will also star Aishwarya Lekshmi, Simran, Kavya Shetty, Harish Uthaman, Gokul Anand, Bharath Raj, Suresh Menon, and Ambuli Gokul, among others in key roles.
Captain has music composed by Imman while the cinematography is handled by S Yuva. The flick is produced by Think Studios in association with Arya’s The Show People.
