It is very common for opposition party leaders to make interesting and controversial statements against the ruling party, but it is very rare for people from the ruling party to make controversial and rather unsettling statements about their own party. Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM, Narayana Swamy, recently made such statements, which are making people wonder what drove him to such length.
Swamy said that the people of Andhra Pradesh would only throw out Jagan and his party from the ruling position, and elect another party instead. This is causing a lot of discussions right now, as Swamy is not even a rebel leader like Raghu Ramakrishna Raju. It is being said that Swamy must have made the statement unintentionally, while expressing his dissatisfaction. However, this is not the first time that Swamy has made some absurd statement like this, as in the past too, he said some unsettling things.
Swamy had said that Pawan Kalyan was planning to join the YSRCP, back when there were just speculations of a possible alliance between Pawan and YSRCP. Swamy also said that Chandrababu had invited him to join the TDP, and even offered him a minister post. It is indeed comical to look at YSRCP’s own members making fun out of themselves.
