It is known that the tussle between AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and Minister Kodali Nani has reached the High Court.
We are aware that Nimmagadda had ordered the Minister to avoid speaking to the media till the 21st of this month. Regarding these orders, the SEC on Friday has faced a shock in the High court.
The HC dismissed Nimmagadda’s orders, preventing Kodali Nani from speaking to the media. A division bench headed by Justice D V S S Somayajulu heard the arguments of both side lawyers and gave interim orders to permit the Minister to speak to the media.
However, the court ruled that Kodali Nani should not talk about Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar or SEC or the election process. During the hearing, the HC said that SEC did not have powers to curb the freedom of expression of an individual, especially a minister.
