A lot of rumors have been circulating saying that the AP government has tapped the phones of several AP Judges. It is not a secret that the AP government and High Court don’t see eye to eye on many matters. However, it is indeed stooping very low, when it comes to tapping the phones of AP Judges, on the part of the government.
The AP government responded to all these claims as soon as the news was getting viral on TV channels, and said that the government has done no such thing, and that the media is simply trying to drive a wedge between the government and the judiciary.
All of these allegations started when an advocate said that his phone was repeatedly getting hanged after he clicked on a WhatsApp link. His messages were already being read by a third person, and all of his calls were being diverted. The same thing happened with 6 other advocates.
With the AP High Court giving most of its judgements in the exact opposite manner to the liking of the state government, everyone thought that the AP government was behind this. More fuel was added to this keeping the track record of the AP government in mind, especially with the way the SEC had received threatening calls, and also YSRCP member Raghu Ramakrishna Raju.
Even as the government denied its hand in tapping the phone of the government, it is still unclear if the government is really behind this or not. This is because the case of the 3 Capitals is still pending in the High Court. The Status Quo on the case has been extended up to the 27th of this month, and it now has to be seen what will happen.
