The upcoming Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting is one of the most important cabinet meetings for the YSRCP government, as it would bring in a whole new cabinet, with new ministers replacing the old ones, as promised by CM Jagan, at the time of his swearing-in ceremony, when he said that he would shuffle his cabinet after his half term is completed.
Initially, it was thought that Jagan would not be shuffling the cabinet anymore, a few months ago, given the tense situations in AP, and the financial crisis in the country. However, it was later revealed that the shuffling would indeed take place and that it would take place around the time of Ugadi, with the current cabinet ministers set to resign on April 7th, with only two or three existing ministers are expected to be retained in the cabinet.
It has now been confirmed that the cabinet meeting would take place on April 11th, due to a change in CM Jagan’s schedule. With the cabinet meeting postponed, the ministers continue to be in the dark, about who would be retained, and who would not. On the other hand, the 13 new districts of AP have come into effect on Ugadi, with all government officials taking charge as well.
