With only two films under her purse, Mrunal Thakur has quickly established herself in Telugu cinema. Her debut in Tollywood, “Sita Ramam,” was both critically lauded and financially successful.
She then featured opposite Nani in the box office success “Hi Nanna”. The Hindi-dubbed version, “Hi Pappa,” also had a large audience on Netflix. Thakur is now preparing for a big break into Tamil cinema with a film produced by Kamal Hassan, starring Simbu (STR), and directed by Desingh Periyasamy.
She will also star opposite Shivakarthikeyan in an action drama directed by A. R. Murugadoss. She also plays an important role in Vijay Devarakonda’s film “Family Star,” which was directed by Parasuram Petla. With such high-profile roles, Thakur is now one of the most demanded actresses.
