The Telugu film industry never fails to churn out one film or another every week, and as is natural, there’s always those films that work, and those that don’t. Three weeks ago, Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha had released, which was a good hit, and that was followed by the disastrous Agent, featuring Akhil Akkineni, which was released two weeks ago.
Last week’s releases, Ramabanam and Ugram, had decent expectations on them, but neither of these films have managed to get a really good talk, with Ugram just getting a slightly better talk when compared to Ramabanam. With the films’ performances being less than impressive at the box office, it is yet another dull week for Tollywood.
Naga Chaitanya’s Custody is set to be released this week, on May 12th, and it is to be seen how this film will turn out to be, and if this week will be any better for Tollywood.
