Alia Bhatt’s recent straight to OTT release, Darlings will apparently be remade in Telugu and Tamil soon. This is a bit odd, considering the theme of the film.
Darlings is a dark comedy drama that barely catered to the Hindi audience. It received mixed reviews and was tipped to be too dark by a large section of the viewers.
Dark comedies aren’t usually too popular down South. So, the latest update pertaining to Darlings remake in Telugu and Tamil does sound a bit odd.
It is heard that a top production house bought the remake rights of the film recently and they will orchestrate the remakes soon.
