Over the past few years, South Indian remakes took a giant leap in Bollywood. Recent Telugu hit Arjun Reddy was remade into Hindi as ‘Kabir Singh’ and it made waves at the box-office by making record-breaking collections.
Now, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapuramlo joins the remake list. Reports say that Kabir Singh producer Ashwin Varde has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Allu Arjun’s supper hit film Ala Vaikuntapuramlo.
According to a report on a news portal, it is heard that Ashwin Varde paid a staggering Rs 8 Crore to acquire the Hindi remake rights of the movie. However, the latest report tells us that Ashwin has been keen on casting a top A-List star cast.
Ashwin wants to change the script in order to meet the taste of the Hindi film audience and he is searching for a suitable director to helm the project.
It may be recalled here that songs, Allu Arjun’s stylish dance moves, power-packed performance, family-centric emotions, and Trivikram mark dialogues are the major highlights of AVPL.
