Bollywood star Akshay kumar recently seen some mixed responses for his film Laxmii. However, that seem to not deter him as there was an interesting update under wraps.
Today on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the actor-producer unveiled on Instagram about his forthcoming film, titled ‘Ram Setu’.
Akshay put up a caption, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge (setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!” (Sic).
In the poster, in an yellow background, the actor is seen in a serious bespectacled look cladded with a saffron scarf and a side bag comprising a caption ‘myth or reality’?. The backdrop of the poster has faded pic of Lord Ram with a bow and arrow indicating about having like roots of mythology in the film. The makers, Cape of good films shared separate posters – in English and Hindi too.
Ram Setu is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma, who has credits for films like The Zoya Factor, Parmanu, among others. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is directing Akshay’s next ‘Prithviraj’, is jointly involved as a creative producer in actor’s own production banner ‘Cape of good films’.
