Akhil Akkineni’s Agent is set for release on the 28th of this month and the promotions are in full swing for the action thriller which is mounted on a lavish scale.
As per the latest trade reports, the pre-release theatrical business for Akhil’s Agent has posted the highest-ever tally in his career thus far.
The AP and Telangana theatrical rights alone are valued at Rs 30 crores and the overall rights are valued at Rs 40 crores with the overseas rights adding Rs 3.5 crores.
Akhil hadn’t hit the Rs 40 crores mark in his career thus far and he will have to attain the same for Agent for the film to enter the safe zone.
The target is a really big one for Akhil this time around and the onus is firmly on him to deliver.
