It is known that Pan India star Prabhas’ Adipurush was scheduled to hit the screens on the occasion of Sankranthi on January 12 next year. However, a few reports revealed that the makers have pushed the release date to Summer 2023, given the jam-packed releases in January. We already know Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy have already booked their slots for Pongal next year.
The latest update we hear is that the makers of Adipurush are now planning to release the movie on March 30, which marks the birthday of Lord Ram. Preparations for the same are underway.
Based on the epic Ramayan, Adipurush stars Prabhas in Lord Ram’s role. Directed by Om Raut, the movie has Kriti Sanon as the leading lady and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. Sunny Singh and Sonal Chauhan will also be seen in key roles. An official announcement regarding the release date is awaited.
