It is known that business magnate Elon Musk has acquired Twitter with a massive $44 billion deal. Making no delay, the CEO of Telsa has been making changes in the organization.
The latest news is that the micro-blogging platform is now reportedly planning to charge its users to get a verified account. According to reports, Twitter will charge $19.99 (approx. Rs 1,600) for the new Blue subscription on the platform.
On the other side, the organisation’s employees fear layoffs will begin before November 1st. However, it is heard that a significant percentage of them will receive stock grants paid out in cash at $54.20 a share.
Moreover, users who already have the blue tick will get 90 days to subscribe to Twitter Blue to keep their profile verified. An official note regarding these changes is expected to be out soon.
