A section of India’s population has been blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s disastrous second wave of Coronavirus. They believe that the PM was not careful enough, and allowed mass gatherings at Kumbh meal and election rallies when the country was still just recovering from the first wave.
This section of the Indian population started trending #Resign_PM_Modi on Twitter since this morning, asking the PM to resign, over his failure to avert the second wave of Coronavirus. To these people, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has given a strong reply.
Kangana’s tweet read “Modi ji does not know how to lead, Kangana does not know how to act, Sachin does not know how to bat, Lata ji does not know how to sing, magar these chindi trolls know everything, please #Resign_PM_Modi ji and make one of these Vishnu avatar trolls next Prime Minister of India.” Netizens had a lot to say to this too, blaming the PM for not being foresighted enough to take precautions,
On the other hand, some users came to the rescue of Modi and Kangana and said that while PM Modi may have done a mistake, the state governments too equally responsible for not being careful enough, and that we, the people, have also been careless, but not maintaining social distancing and by not wearing masks
