Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has quashed fake reports of his father Amitabh Bachchan’s health condition. After a report circulated that Amitabh has been admitted in a hospital after an injury, Abhishek responded by questioning the authenticity of the reports and asserted “I ask, because he’s sitting right in front of me. That must be his duplicate in the hospital”.
The reports surfaced online on Monday. They said the actor was in hospital since Saturday and has been undergoing treatment. With no statement from Bachchans, the fans were left wondering if there was any truth to the reports.
Abhishek addressed to a media channel to clear the confusion and tried to nip it in the bud and said not to believe in such news. It is needless to say to most, but required for the unversed that Amitabh, along with Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aaradhya, were hospitalised in July after both son and father tested positive for the covid-19. Big B was cooped up in hospital for over 20 days. After recuperating, he returned back to the Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 sets post completion of the quarantine. Since then he was hale and hearty.
