A case has been registered against TDP key leader and the former Minister Nara Lokesh by the West Godavari Police. It is known that Lokesh has been on a tour to enquire about the situation of the farmers who lost their crops due to heavy rains. Lokesh visited Akividu, Attili and Chinaparimi mandals in West Godavari district.
Lokesh was accompanied by MLAs Ramanayudu and Sivaramaraj, who visited the area to inspect crops damaged by the recent heavy rains. Now a case has been registered against the TDP leader for violating the COVID-19 norms.
Lokesh along with two MLAs set off from Akividu to Saddhapuram in a tractor. Along with the MLAs, many leaders also boarded the tractor. The tractor was driven by Lokesh himself. Lokesh was unable to drive the tractor as the entire road was completely flooded.
As it approached Chinakaapavaram, the tractor lost control and went into an adjacent drain. However, at the last minute, Mantena Sivaramaraj, who was next to Lokesh, managed to control the tractor and the accident was averted.
It is known that CM Jagan criticised Lokesh that he visited the farmers on 26th where the floods were stopped by October 16th. Jagan exuded his confidence that the YSRCP government is taking care of the farmers who lost their field. Already Lokesh is being criticised for the accident and Jagan made some strong comments against him and this police case may further devastate Lokesh during this intense and ambitious tour.
