Remember, Kokilaben from the TV serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’? The show got much traction earlier but its off air right now. A music producer’s rap song sampled from Kokilaben’s dialogues takes the internet by storm.
Music producer Yashraj Mukhate from Mumbai became an internet senstaion with his hilarious video song. On his Twitter and Instagram profile, he posted a song which was created from a dramatic scene from the daily soap, where Kokilaben is seen scolding daughter-in laws Bahu and Rashi after a kitchen mishap.
But Yashraj Mukhate, has sliced the actor’s dialogues and added musical beats by tuning to a scale in a rhythmic way and turns it into a rap song. This style of musical troll has become an instant hit in international music producers and soon it spread to India.
The parody video has already garnered over 7.5 lakh views on Instagram and 127k on Twitter in less than 24 hours.
The producer of the soap opera Rashmi Sharma has also shared it on her social media profile. Stars like Ranvir Shorey and Sanya Malhotra have commended Yashraj’s creativity .The funny video was even reposted by Union Minister Smriti Irani on her Instagram account. Smriti said she apparently got surprised while it turned out to be something else as she progressed to watch.
