It is well-known that Satya Dev’s Bluff Master is the Telugu remake of Tamil super hit, Sathuranga Vettai. Despite getting a reasonably good response from a section of the audience, it failed to make it big at the box office. Many feel that the makers of Bluff Master opted for style over substance and this is why the sould of the film went missing.
Now, Ravi Teja is testing his luck with his upcoming film Khiladi, which is a remake of Sathuranga Vettai 2. The film was officially launched yesterday.
Ramesh Varma penned the script of Khiladi with Sathuranga Vettai 2’s core plot. He laced it with all the required commerical ingredients to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences.
Well, Satya Dev could not get the best of results with Bluff Master, the remake of Sathuranga Vettai. It remains to be seen if Ravi Teja can get a better result with Sathuranga Vettai 2 which is a sequel of the original with the same title.
Khiladi has Meenakshi and Dimple Hayati in the female lead roles. Regular shoot will be commenced soon. More details about the project will be out in the days to come.
