Recently, a 6 member-AIIMS panel headed by Sudhir Gupta corroborated after a re-assessment of Sushant’s post-mortem report that the actor had passed away by suicide, and wasn’t murdered. The medical staff brushed aside the murder angle and refuted any foul play by reporting there was no sedative material in the actor’s body.
However few media personnels, Sushanth’s family & lawyer, fans and citizens believed it was falsity and definitely corrupt medical team involved. Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant’s family, has since demanded a new forensic team and AIIMS panel to be set up, claiming the report `false’ and ‘corrupt’.
In a reply to this, author Chetan Bhagat fumed over Vikas Singh’s accusations. He asserted saying that the lawyer should produce any such evidence to support his claims on AIIMS panel.
“I’ve never been to AIIMS, but you’re claiming AIIMS is corrupt? One of the hardest places to get a job in, get admission in… It’s like you are saying our IIT Delhi is corrupt. . Show me some proof.”, he said in an enraged voice in Hindi while interacting with Barkha Dutt in a virtual chat session.
